How can someone contact me using the QR Code?
If someone finds your pet, they can scan the QR code on the tag to access your pet’s profile page. This page provides your contact information and other relevant details to help reunite you with your pet.

Can I receive notifications when the QR code is scanned?
Yes, with the premium plan, you can enable notifications when your QR code is scanned. Simply log in to QR Code Chimp, go to your pet’s profile settings, and activate the “email me on scan” option. You'll receive an approximate location, and the finder can send the exact location if they wish.

Are QR Code Tags better than traditional pet tags?
QR Code Pet ID Tags offer more flexibility than traditional tags. They provide a profile with comprehensive details about your pet and allow you to easily update your contact information without needing a new tag.

What information can I include on my pet’s profile page?
Your pet’s profile page can feature their name, vaccination records, and medical history. You can also include your own contact details, ensuring a complete ID solution for your pet.

How do I set up my pet’s profile?
Once you receive your tag, scan the QR code on the back to claim it and set up your pet’s profile. This will prompt you to create an account on QR Code Chimp, our hosting partner for pet profiles. We recommend using a desktop browser for easier navigation.

Can I update my information later?
Yes, QR code tags are dynamic, so you can update your pet’s profile details anytime. Just log in to QR Code Chimp, go to your dashboard, and use the edit option on your pet’s profile to make changes.

Can I keep the profile private until needed?
Absolutely! You can "pause" the QR code when your pet is safe at home. This keeps the profile hidden until you’re ready to reactivate it. Simply navigate to your dashboard, select the QR code, and choose the pause option.
